Flood control, a place for biodiversity, and a canvas for beautiful sunsets are just some of the features that wetlands have to offer, and their positive impact on our ever-changing world speaks for itself. Carbon sequestration is an important global phenomenon that all forms of life depend on to keep a liveable climate. Here in Saskatchewan, is sequestered in mass amounts by the boreal forest, muskeg, grasslands, and permafrost.
